So that you can actually enjoy your life.

Consider your life to be a smooth road without any traffic, so you are going on full throttle. You are enjoying your life, you are enjoying the speed.

After sometime you will not enjoy this as much as you were enjoying in the beginning. You will not be as excited as you were before. Eventually you will not be enjoying this smooth road, in fact, you will be bored of it.

Now if you have some speed breakers, some traffic in your path you will be excited when you find a smooth road, when you get the opportunity to go with full throttle.

Basically, happiness and sadness are complimentary to each other.

You will not truly enjoy your happy moments if you have not faced some sad moments.

You will not enjoy your success as much if you have not faced any failures.

You won’t enjoy your weekends if you don’t have busy weekdays.

Therefore, life has some ups and downs so that we can enjoy its smooth part.

Nothing is permanent in life. So there will be ups and downs in life. We all get our share of weal and woe in life. These changing circumstances make one an updated version of oneself. He becomes experienced, knowledgeable, sensible person.

If there is either ups or downs, life will be dull. There’ll be no enjoyment in life. A person will be neither succeed nor failed, he just follows the same monotonous routine of his life.

These are parts of our life. These are the reasons behind what we are today. So don’t afraid about anything, just keep moving forward and enjoy each and every moment of life.

Thank you ….As per my view, Life means its journey of identifying self-existence. The Up & down time in life is the part of Continuation of journey. Life is not straight line, if life goes in straight line then our life will be over…as showing on heart rate monitor in hospital.

The equation of straight line is, (y=mx+c) depends on m your line values is modified, likewise in human life depends on situation…For ex. Due to Covid – 19 (Universal/pandemic disease situation) lot of economical crashes arised on many countries & countries livelihood people’s. This is up & down time in life for entire world. So, we have to focus our journey rather than finding out up & down time.

Mainly because too much of something is always bad. This applies also to too much of good things and bad things in life. Just like in chemistry, it’s always understood that all atoms or particles want to achieve equilibrium. Same goes to life itself.

You can’t just have good times pushing you as you get older, something needs to contradict that push, to make us fall down and learn how to not depend on the ups in life to be able to move forward. The downs in life give it meaning and a sense of humanity.

The reason why people fail to be grateful for the downs in life is because they focus too much on what they can gain from the ups that they get blinded by the ‘greener grass on the other side’.

Nowhere does it say that everything will be smooth-sailing or easy in life, in every stage of it.

No one, not even the most successful person in this world, has ever NOT experienced a certain ‘down’ in their life, as far as I know.

Do you want to add a word or two?

I want you to think of a Roller Coaster ride.

Do you know what makes a Roller Coaster ride so entertaining and fun?

The fact that there are the ups and downs.

Had a Roller Coaster ride been flat – it would have been like any other normal car experience – boring. So that is why a Roller Coaster ride is so expensive.

The same goes where life is concerned. What makes life so much fun is the fact that there are the ups and downs. Had life been just a flat line – it would have been like a lifeless body – dead with no pulse.

Have you noticed – even the Heart Beat has its ups & downs to show life.

Your comments….

When life is hard, I try to deal with it. I cry, I shout, I become weak. But I never give up. I try my best to get a fruitful result. I dealt with a bad breakup, drop year, less marks in semesters, health and skin issues, adjusting with new environment, coping up with difficult situations, letting go someone I like and many more. All these were my bad times.

One the other hand, I met some great people who were there with me in those difficult situations, my bonding with my parents became stronger, got to know who is a fake friend and who is real. Made wonderful memories with all of them. I laughed, had tears of joy and many more. So these are my happy times.

Life isn’t a bed full of roses. It has both the sides, like a coin. Enjoy your happy moments and never give up in your bad times.

It’s impossible to go through life without having high, neutral, and low moments because of various factors of life converge on our one experience. Everything fluctuates because we each have needs & come into contact with other things.

If we were in an isolated bubble, with no one or nothing around us with no basic needs, we would probably remain in a neutral state. If you add even one item, person, or need, you will experience highs/lows. Now compare the empty, isolated, needless bubble of consistency to reality and you will see how complex it gets.

Say you’re in a bubble again, you have one need, food, and there is none unless you push a button. You will experience a slight low of being hungry, and a slight high when food appears. Even with that one need, it will break the neutral state of being.

In real life, the one need of food can be complex in itself. To obtain food you usually need money.

How do you get money?

You must find a job. How do you find a job?

You need to search online, talk to people, apply to places, and go to interviews. Once hired you must learn how to do that job, show up daily, perform at least average, and wait for your paycheck.

But wait, how do I get paid?

Do I have a bank account for direct deposit, if not I must set that up.

Am I getting paid by check?

How do I cash it?

So you go through all that and you now have the money for food, but what do you eat, even worse, what do you want to eat?

Are you going to a fast food restaurant for premade food or are you cooking it yourself?

If you’re cooking it yourself, how are you cooking it?

Do you have the ingredients, do you have anything to cook with?

If not, you must obtain them. Do you have transportation to collect these things?

Is there a store(s) within your transportation range that sell these things & do you have enough to buy them?

Is the weather affecting your search for food, or possibly made you miss days of work so you have less money?

Say you gather and obtain everything you need to make the meal, do you burn it or cook it correctly?

Are the quality of the ingredients good?

Did you cook it enough, are you going to get sick from this food?
